LSU defeated Florida on the road and will next take on the South Carolina Gamecocks.
The 5th ranked LSU Tigers improved to 20-0 with an 80-63 over Florida in Gainesville.
“Winning on the road in our conference is always a significant achievement,” said head Coach Kim Mulkey.
Aneesah Morrow continued her impressive performance, achieving a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
LSU’s defense was very impressing forcing the Gators into 11 steals including three by Morrow and Flau’jae Johnson.
Mikaylah Williams led all scorers with 22 points and eight rebounds while Flau’jae added 19 points.
Coach Mulkey has achieved at least 20 wins in every season of her 25-year head coaching career.
“Great players. I’ve been blessed to coach some of the greatest to ever coach the women’s game. Not just that they’re great but that they buy into your style of coaching. They want to be about the team versus themselves…it’s been a wonderful run with a lot of great players,” said Mulkey.
